The NHL is introducing a new way for players to decorate their home this season.
The team announced Tuesday it’s bringing back the “Biggest Home” contest, a weekly, four-hour event featuring top NHL players.
It will begin in March, and the winner will be crowned the Most Outstanding Home Designer in the League.
The winners will then travel to the Stanley Cup Finals, which will take place in Pittsburgh this fall.
“I am so excited to be back at the NHL with our Biggest Home contest,” defenseman Chris Stewart said in a statement.
“The Biggest home decor contest was the first contest that we ever hosted and the response was overwhelming.
I’m so happy to be able to once again be able participate in this great tradition of our game.”
The Bigest Home is an incredible opportunity to meet with players who share our passion for home decor and to be challenged to create something that will make your home stand out.
“The Big, Big, Best Home Contest will continue through the end of April, when the winner is announced at the 2017 Stanley Cup Final.
It is not a charity event.
The winner will then be awarded the Stanley Champion’s Trophy.
The Big Home Contest has become the biggest contest in the league for players.
The last contest was in 2014 when the St. Louis Blues won the trophy.
The NHL has a new contest every year, with the winner of the Bigest House Contest each year getting an additional trip to the Cup Final, which takes place in October.
The new contest will be hosted at the Air Canada Centre, which opened in October and will have a new theme this year.
It includes a game that will include a three-on-three shootout between teams, a team photo shoot, and a trivia question about the year’s greatest NHL player.”
It’s exciting to finally be able do this, to be recognized for what I have accomplished, for the incredible work that I have done over the last few years,” defenseman Alexei Emelin said in the statement.
The winner of this year’s Big Home Derby will travel to Pittsburgh, where the Stanley Stanley Cup Playoffs begin in October, to compete in the Stanley Series against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The league announced Tuesday that the winner and the runner-up will receive a trip to play in the first round of the playoffs, where they will face off against the Stanley champion in the Conference Final.
The winners will be announced at a later date.
